A loaded veggie pie that isn't an afterthought.

Vegetable Pizza

The Vegetable Pizza is proof we treat the veggie pie as seriously as the meat ones. Fresh-cut mushrooms, peppers, onions, black olives and spinach — not a sad sprinkle, but a full load — on our house sauce and mozzarella. It's the go-to for the vegetarians at the table and a regular for the after-Jummah lunch crowd looking for something lighter.

Vegetable Pizza

What goes on it

  • Fresh mushrooms, sliced in-house
  • Green peppers and white onions
  • Black olives
  • Spinach, added so it wilts into the cheese
  • House tomato sauce + low-moisture whole-milk mozzarella on 24-hour dough

How it's made

Vegetables are cut fresh through the day, never from a can except the olives. Sauce, cheese, then a heavy hand of vegetables. Into the brick oven for 8–10 minutes — the extra moisture from the veg means we watch it and finish it well to keep the crust crisp.

Pairings

A Garden or Arabic Salad and garlic-knots for a vegetarian spread. A White Ricotta alongside it makes a great meatless two-pie order.

Ordering tips

Order it well-done so the vegetables roast and the crust stays crisp under the load. Want it vegan-friendly? Ask for no cheese and extra veg — the dough and sauce are dairy-free.

FAQ

Common questions

Does the vegetable pizza come out soggy under that many toppings?
Mushrooms and spinach both give off water in the oven, so this one is handled differently from a plain cheese pie. It runs 8 to 10 minutes in the brick oven and gets watched and finished well rather than pulled on a timer, and the spinach goes on to wilt down into the mozzarella instead of sitting wet on top. Ask for well-done if you want a firmer bottom; the vegetables roast a little at the same time.
How is this different from a cheese pizza with vegetables added on?
Amount and timing. Add-on toppings go onto a pie built for cheese. This one is built around five vegetables at once, mushrooms, green peppers, white onions, black olives and spinach, laid on in a heavy layer, with the bake adjusted for the extra water they give off. The mushrooms, peppers and onions are cut fresh through the day. The olives are the only thing on the pie that comes out of a can.
Can I get it vegan, without the cheese?
Yes. The dough and the house tomato sauce are both dairy-free, so no cheese plus extra vegetables makes it vegan, and that is how to ask for it. The mozzarella is the only dairy on it as built, which is what makes the standard version vegetarian rather than vegan. Everything else stays the same: the same vegetables, the same 24-hour dough, the same brick oven.
Is the vegetable pizza halal?
Yes — every meat on this pizza, like every meat on our menu, comes from a halal-certified supplier, and the kitchen, fryer and slicer are halal-only. Nothing non-halal is prepared or stored on the premises.
Can I order it for pickup or delivery?
Both. Pickup is free and usually ready in about 15 minutes. In-house delivery is our own drivers — no third-party app markup — across Clifton, Paterson, Passaic, Garfield, Nutley, Lyndhurst, Bloomfield and Belleville.
