Hand-breaded halal chicken on a ranch-drizzled brick-oven pie.
Crispy Chicken Ranch Pizza
The Crispy Chicken Ranch is the pizza we tell first-time customers to try. It's the gateway pie — the one that explains why our halal kitchen has built a reputation that goes well beyond Clifton's halal-conscious community.

What goes on it
- • Halal chicken cutlet, hand-breaded (egg wash, seasoned breadcrumb) and fried in a halal-only fryer
- • Low-moisture whole-milk mozzarella
- • House tomato sauce (San-Marzano-style, lightly cooked)
- • 24-hour cold-fermented dough
- • Buttermilk ranch drizzle, applied after the pie comes out of the oven
How it's made
The chicken is breaded and fried fresh — not pre-cooked. After frying, it's chopped into bite-size pieces and laid on top of a fully sauced and cheesed pie. Into the brick oven; out at 7–9 minutes. Ranch goes on at the cut station so it stays creamy and visible.
Pairings
Garden Salad and garlic-knots are the most common pair. A 2-liter Sprite or a Snapple. The Caesar Salad also goes well.
Ordering tips
Personal 10" makes a great one-person dinner. Large 16" is the family-pizza-night size. For office lunch, do a 28" party-style — it's the second-most popular catering pie after the Buffalo Chicken.
For Clifton
If you're new to Alaeddin's, this is the pie. It's a single-pizza answer to "why is this place 4.4 stars over 900-plus reviews."

FAQ
Common questions
- What's the difference between this and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza?
- Different chicken, different heat level. The Buffalo Chicken is all-white-meat chicken, poached and cubed, then tossed in buffalo sauce when the order comes in. This one is a halal cutlet, hand-breaded in egg wash and seasoned breadcrumb, fried, and chopped over the pie. Both get the same buttermilk ranch drizzle after the oven, and both start on our house tomato sauce and mozzarella. Nothing on the ranch pie is spicy.
- Is the ranch the sauce, or is there tomato sauce under the cheese?
- There's tomato sauce. It's a red pie: house sauce first, San-Marzano-style and lightly cooked, then whole-milk mozzarella, then the chicken. The ranch is a finish, not a base; it goes on at the cut station after the pie leaves the oven. If you want an actual white pie with no tomato at all, that's our White Ricotta, which is a different pizza entirely.
- Does the breaded chicken actually stay crispy, or does it go soft on the pie?
- It's breaded and fried after the order comes in, not pre-cooked and held, so it goes on hot and crisp and only sees seven to nine minutes in the brick oven. Chopping it bite-size before it goes on the pie helps as well: you get breading on every piece instead of one big slab softening in the middle. It sits on top of the cheese, not buried under it.
- Is the crispy chicken ranch pizza halal?
- Yes — every meat on this pizza, like every meat on our menu, comes from a halal-certified supplier, and the kitchen, fryer and slicer are halal-only. Nothing non-halal is prepared or stored on the premises.
- Can I order it for pickup or delivery?
- Both. Pickup is free and usually ready in about 15 minutes. In-house delivery is our own drivers — no third-party app markup — across Clifton, Paterson, Passaic, Garfield, Nutley, Lyndhurst, Bloomfield and Belleville.
